The mission of the Engineering and Design group is to design, engineer, and implement the various physical and logical components required of large scale networks. This typically involves integrating new campus-wide or building LANs into the existing network infrastructure. Physical network design and engineering needs for buildings (both new and old) as well as campus-wide requirements are addressed by this group, for common voice and data infrastructure needs.
