The University's dial-up internet service will be discontinued effective May 30, 2009. The use of this service has been steadily declining for several years. Currently, less than 1% of the University uses the dial-up modems; and they carry significant operating costs. The savings from this action will be diverted to more widely utilized services that will benefit the broader University community.
