All disruptions and maintenance activities are communicated to the University community as events allow. Announcements attempt to clearly indicate the nature of the event and, where practical, include a summary of the event, campus location, network status, start time and end times, and the list of affected devices and/or areas. Announcements regarding the activities occurring on the network may take place before, during, or after an action has taken place.
For information on service disruptions, voice system users can use the following resources:
1) Contact or coordinate with departmental Unit Computing Staff to distribute service disruption information to affected locations.
2) Subscribe to the firstname.lastname@example.org mailing list to receive information on unplanned disruptions and maintenance periods that may affect service in their location.
3) Refer to the TD Network Status Page (https://tdtools.rutgers.edu/netstatus/) and/or the TD Maintenance Calendar (https://tdtools.rutgers.edu/calendar/calendar.html) for information on unplanned disruptions and maintenance periods that may affect service in their location.
4) Contact the TD Network Operations Center (NOC) for information about disruptions at email@example.com or by phone at (848) 445-7541.
